Division Pricing

Spring Season

Pinto(8U)*† - $200 - Born between 9/1/16 & 8/31/18- current 1st & 2nd graders- 2 innings kid pitch and then coach pitch remainder of the game.  Players with 2 years of T-ball experience can request to move to Pinto level. 

Mustang(10U)*† - $200 - Born Between 9/1/14 & 8/31/16- current 3rd & 4th graders- begins all kid pitch. 

Bronco(12U)*† - $200 - Born Between 9/1/12 & 8/31/14- current 5th & 6th graders.

Pony(14U)*† - $200 - Born Between 9/1/10 & 8/31/12 - current 7th & 8th graders.  This will be new for Tri-County Softball in Spring 2025.  

(16U)*† - $
350 - Born Between 9/1/08 & 8/31/10 - current 9th & 10th graders- Historically, we have had issues getting enough girls to make 1 team in this division. We would prefer all players submit a check payment for registration that can be returned if not enough players register to create a team. This will allow the league to return the entire registration instead of registration cost minus credit card processing fees. This level plays with SWS.

(18U)*† - $350 - Born Between 9/1/06 & 8/31/ - current 11th & 12th graders- Historically, we have had issues getting enough girls to make 1 team in this division. We would prefer all players submit a check payment for registration that can be returned if not enough players register to create a team. All registration prices include a $50 Raffle Ticket Fee which you will receive ten(10) $5 tickets that can be sold to earn your money back.
†All registration prices include a $50 Volunteer Fee which can be earned back by volunteering to coach, work the concession stand for a 4hr shift, or volunteer to help during Field Cleanup.

Registration Listing

Spring 2025 Softball Season

Registration price includes the $50 Volunteer Fee and $50 Raffle Ticket Fee. These fees will be paid for each child that registers.
**The $50 Volunteer Fee will be returned after working a 4-hour shift at Field Clean Up or the Concession Stand.**
**Coach Volunteers will pay the $50 Volunteer Fee at registration, which will be returned halfway through the season.**
**Raffle Tickets can be sold, and you can keep the money to repay the added expense to you.**

Divisions 8U - 14U will be part of the Tri-County League, including surrounding towns such as Braidwood, MVK, Dwight, Morris, Limestone, Herscher, Wilmington, Seneca and Gardner/South Wilmington.

Divisions 16U - 18U will be a part of the SWS(Southwest Suburban Softball) Fastpitch League. Half of all games will be held in towns such as Yorkville, Plainfield, Bolingbrook, Melrose, Oswego, Naperville, and surrounding areas, requiring approximately 30-60 minutes of travel from Coal City.

Registration helps pay for the items below:
  • Umpires for all Home Games
  • Uniforms
  • Insurance
  • League Entrance Fees
  • Coaching Staff Background Checks
  • Field Maintenance (Ex: Line Chalk, Bases, etc) and Equipment
 
Necessary Equipment
  • Girls will be required to wear Face Masks while fielding.
  • Batting Helmets must have face masks and protect both ears while batting/running bases. **The League will have a couple available for use if needed, but players should provide them when possible.**
  • Players must provide a glove.
  • Shoes with rubber cleats may be worn, but NO metal cleats are allowed. **Clean Gym Shoes are required when practicing inside.**
  • Players are encouraged to provide their own bat. Bats must be ASA fast pitch approved. No bats will have larger than 2.25" barrels. **Bats should have a USA/ASA Certified stamp.**
  • Players must provide Black Softball Pants.

Revenue generated through Raffle Tickets, Concession Stand Profits, Donations, and Sponsorships allows us to Improve Fields and offer better equipment. Please review this Sponsorship Letter and pass it along to anyone you know who would be interested in helping CYSL improve the girls of our community's experience.

**Paying by Check/Cash** To avoid Credit Card Processing Fees being charged to the League, or if desired, payment can be made by Check or Cash. Please complete the registration process until payment is requested. Leave the registration in the cart and mail payment to PO Box 41, Coal City, IL 60416, OR deliver payment directly to a board member. The league will push the registration through once payment has been received, and you will receive an e-mail confirming payment completion.
